Fleet Source recognised as supporting Defense personnel as an employer

Fleet Source are proud to announce that they have been awarded the Bronze level award by the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme.

To meet the criteria of the prestigious award, Fleet Source have displayed that ‘we support the armed forces, including existing or prospective employees who are members of the community’ and that we ‘promote being armed forces-friendly and are open to employing reservists, armed forces veterans (including the wounded, injured and sick), cadet instructors and military spouses/partners’.

Fleet Source actively employs ex-service personnel, including those from all three services (the Army, Navy and Air Force). 50% of the board and over 25% of the total Fleet Source employees and sub-contractors are made up of ex-service personnel, including some who have been injured whilst serving their Country.

The vast proportion of these employees come from a transport and logistics background and are recruited into our training and auditing pool.

Fleet Source actively recruits through Defense and Military online sources and publications.

It’s due to these reasons that we have received this Bronze level award and we will continue to proudly support the Armed Forces.
