The first ever course on counter terrorism for commercial fleet drivers, Terrorism Risk and Incident Prevention CPC (TRIP), has been attended by over 1,000 drivers since its launch less than 3 months ago.TRIP was developed by Fleet Source in a response to the recent escalation of Vehicle as a Weapon attacks across Europe. Designed to help operators mitigate the risk of a terror attack involving their vehicles, the course has been selected by some of the largest fleet operators in the country for their Driver CPC.

02 Jan 2018 Fleet Source’s Work Related Road Risk CPC course offers an alternative for FORS e-learning

Transport operators can now cover their FORS e-learning requirements and gain CPC hours simultaneously. The Fleet Source’s Work Related Road Risk CPC course is an approved FORS e-learning module and can contribute to the FORS requirements necessary to retain accreditation.As part of the FORS Silver requirement, fleet operators must demonstrate that their drivers are committed to protecting vulnerable road users. This means that operator’s training plans must include not only an on-cycle feature, but an e-learning element also. Alongside this, all commercial lorry, bus or coach drivers must complete 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to keep their Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
