The aim of the Behavioural Aspects of Driving course is to enlighten and educate drivers on why incidents happen and how to deal with various aspects which control a drivers’ behaviour.
The course is designed to get the drivers to update their knowledge and understanding of road etiquette and compliance as they may not have thought about this since passing their basic driving test.
This course additionally outlines and defines the key emotions that can affect driving, so that drivers can better understand their difficulties, better describe their experience and help them deal with day to day frustrations.
These courses are interactive and ideal for new drivers on inductions to embed up to date knowledge and awareness. It is also designed for drivers which have been identified as high risk, either by high mileage or having minor incidents.
It is commonly understood that individual differences play a role in safe driving performance and regardless of efforts by organisations to manage work-related road safety, some individuals are more likely to exhibit safe driving behaviour than others.
The BAD course is 3.5 hours of learning and is advised to be on a one-to-one basis.
